It has started

The annual spectacle that is our very special rhododendron has started! Soon it will be a blaze of colour. It was a gift to us when we lost our daughter, so we stupidly attach an enormous importance to it. It is in a large pot. We make sure it never dries out, and we keep it fed. It is such a beautiful colour. So far there are just a few flowers but we are looking forward to the full glory.
