Yellow

Getting ready for our forthcoming holiday, I got my macro lens out. I’d hoped to get a shot of the Holly Blue that was fluttering around the hedge, but it wasn’t to be. Instead, I saw that the buttercups were just starting to flower in our wild lawn. The Yellow Rattle - the star species of the wild lawn - is really coming on this year too. Many thanks for all  the stars, favourites and comments on my 4500th blip yesterday.
