Portobello Beach Edinburgh Day 271

T-Rex Cancer Awareness : Day 6 of 7.

This is Sharon. We have known her for years and her youngest son and ours have been good friends since they met at school at the age of 7. She is also one of the fittest "senior" runners I know. She breezed round the Edinburgh Half Marathon yesterday so quickly that despite my best efforts to blip her on the Promenade I missed her completely! We went back to the Promenade again this morning to take this picture complete with T-Rex and her medal. Congratulations to Sharon on an excellent run yesterday. Come and stay with us again next year and maybe run the whole marathon next time?!
We went into town last night and the atmosphere on the High Street was brilliant. The collective sense of achievement at the end of another successful Edinburgh Marathon Festival was much in evidence. Congratulations to everyone who ran, supported and organised this great athletic weekend.
