Desperately seeking

Cliburn Moss

Our local Wildlife Trust Support Group were having an outdoor meet tonight which was a walk around Cliburn Moss, a National nature reserve. It isn't very big and can be walked in an hour but it was a pleasant evening.

I can imagine we will be back, just the 2 of us at a quieter time, not at evening dog-walking time with a dozen or so others.

I've chosen the unfurling fern leaf from what I saw tonight, but I also liked the white bluebells, of which there were only a few and were flowering before the blue ones.
