Another songbird or Soloveiko

I have learnt that the Soloveiko is a nightingale which is the Ukraine’s national bird. In the thumbnail you may be able to see where I have managed to capture Liverpool’s Liverbird reflection: a mythical creature.  There are interviews going on in all sorts of places at the moment! Here it’s next to the Crimean songbird.

Another extra is a very colourful piece of modern art situated next to the Tate.  It is by Ugo Rondinone Liverpool Mountain 2018. It marks the 10th anniversary of Liverpool European Capital of Culture, the 20th anniversary of Liverpool Biennial and the 30th anniversary of Tate Liverpool.


Slept badly: too hot and a hard pillow! Went for a walk round The dock area where I took above shots.  Then collected car and our stuff and went to Anfield for the last set of tickets this year! 

Then to collect my new glasses! Was disappointed as nothing is perfect.  The varifocals do not darken in the light.  We’ve been told to put them in the fridge overnight to activate the layer. Otherwise the manufacturers have forgotten to add it! Bring them back.


Ro due back with the girls soon - food - then it’s off to football practice! We have them for the night!
