Its the Way It Is

Tibradden Cairn Folly

2nd Year Grad Show in NCAD

It’s been a really great day in the heart of old Dublin where the old clashes romantically with the new.

Hannah’s installation and the extra explains. My son came from Mayo where he lives with his family. I met a diverse, creative group of Hannah’s contemporaries and friends. NCAD is a special place.

She did the casting herself from moulds and faked fossils on concrete, using discarded fish bone and dead branches. It needs to be seen in reality but hopefully this is a representation.

We had a late lunch in NCAD underground restaurant and it was really fun.

Well done Hannah. Those late night forays up to Tibradden paid off and you never stopped believing

Please look at extra which fully explains the project. Also close up of rigged fossil find (made from moulded wax)
