No cygnets yet!

Despite it being dismal and chilly I did a 10 mile circuit of Home Park, the towpath and Bushy Park. I visited all the places where swans have nested in previous years…no nests in most locations this year but this one was in Home Park. Lots of fresh looking vegetation making the nest.

Surprisingly few people on the towpath maybe because it was cold…very cold for this time in May. Our heating came on this morning!

Spent all afternoon in the garden. Sorting out all my pots, giving them some fertiliser and also slug pellets for the hostas.
