Sport

Today began with a dog walk that was chilly until the haar burned off, and then became glorious. I then did my marshalling for our club's 10k road race. One of our students ran it in a decent time - whilst juggling (see extra).

Then it was into Edinburgh to watch a disappointingly cagy game between The Spartans and Albion Rovers. They are playing for a place in Scottish League Two, and you could tell which team had been scrapping for survival (Albion) and which team had won its league (Spartans). In the end 1-1 seemed fair, and the atmosphere was good (see extra). The return leg is next Saturday

After the match I walked and ran to the centre of Edinburgh, finally getting to visit the Botanics.
