Grey Heron

There were two heron over today. The two youngest ones, the others were possibly  put off as I was chatting to a couple of guys about them. They were very interested in them and one of them remembered seeing the young one waiting for me a couple of years ago (although he did not know it was waiting for me).They have counted 6 chicks from the recent hatchings. I really haven't been round the other side of the loch much.
The very nervous adult was waiting on it's own near the entrance but flew off as I got near.
There were 2 crows as well.
