In transit through the Kiel Canal

Sunday 14th
The clocks went forward so we missed “ early “ activities such as yoga at 7 especially after a late night watching Eurovision !
We began our transit of the Kiel Canal through a lock and have been progressing slowly all day through the German countryside. Very green tranquil and beautiful.
It’s been sunny !
We went to a talk on the history of Tallinn then I stayed for one about the BBC Natural History Unit.
Lunch was a barbecue on the open deck 7. The afternoon was spent relaxing before I went to a talk on Composers of the Baltic countries. We then did the quiz before a swim and a pre dinner gin and tonic in the jacuzzi.
