Spirit in Stone

The various sculpts in this garden are called "Spirits in Stone" and of course that reminds me of my BIL who was a painter and a sculptor himself and often told me he'd to carve out the faces from the marmor as that's what they called him for... and perhaps this Medusa did call out to her sculptor too! As to release her from the massive black stone...
