Modern Payment Systems!

The best of this is we have NEVER received that bill, AND we pay by direct debit!
 
British Gas did make a total (I wont print the usual words involving chickens, nor my version) of our account when they opened an account for the new house next door.  This was supposedly sorted on 13th April, but on 2nd May we got the first reminder – no bill, just the reminder. 
 
This was supposedly sorted out on the phone.
 
Today we could see that it wasn’t!
 
Well it is supposedly sorted out again, the £13 refunded, and an apology on its way from head office.  I did feel a bit sorry for the poor chap on the other end, but I was polite even though resolute and firm - VERY FIRM! – THIS IS A COMPLAINT!
 
So now we have it in black and white.
