Indulgence, Trash Or Treasure, Maidstone

The promised sun and warmer weather didn't really hit Kent until after midday but we were still glad to see it when it finally arrived. After the usual food shop today we popped into Maidstone for a pint at the Market House pub in the centre of town. This image was taken a short distance away on Week Street.
The afternoon did get a bit worse later when my team, Arsenal, lost 3 - 0 at home which more or less means that Manchester City are nailed on to win yet another title, their fifth in six years. City do play excellent football but I find it has a rather cold precision to it - in some games they approach 70 - 80% of possession  - and slowly but surely crush the life out of the opposing team. The Premier League could soon join other leagues, like those in France and Germany, where the same team win the title year after year after year. Bayern Munich, for example, are almost certain to win their 11th title in a row. Not sure what the answer is but if Manchester City do the same then I may stop watching. If it all becomes too predictable where's the excitement?
