Mai di dor

Mai di dor ~ No mow May

“The moment one gives close attention to anything, even a blade of grass, it becomes a mysterious, awesome, indescribably magnificent world in itself.”
― Henry Miller

Dydyn ni ddim yn torri ein glaswellt ym mis Mai. Y syniad yw helpu peillio a lleihau effeithiau llygredd. Ein glaswellt yn tyfu yn gyflym iawn. Bydd e'n ddiddorol i weld pa fath o flodau yn tyfu yma a pa fath o bryfed yn eu mwynhau.

Mae ‘Plantlife’ yn dweud:
‘Rhyddhewch y blodau gwyllt yn eich lawnt fel eu bod yn gallu tyfu’n wyllt a darparu gwledd i bryfed peillio, mynd i’r afael â llygredd, lleihau eithafion gwres trefol, a chloi carbon atmosfferig o dan y ddaear.’

We are not cutting our grass in May. The idea is to help pollination and reduce the effects of pollution. Our grass is growing very quickly. It will be interesting to see what kind of flowers grow here and what kind of insects enjoy them.

Plantlife’ says:
‘Free the wildflowers in your lawn so they can grow wild and provide a feast for pollinators, tackle pollution, and lock away atmospheric carbon below ground.’
