Spotted this bug today ...... a Common Green Shieldbug :-)

Makes a change to find something different .... think it's only the second time I've seen one :-)

Today is the 80th anniversary of the Dambusters raid which flew from RAF Scampton in Lincolnshire.

The Lancaster Bomber from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight will fly over 28 former Lincolnshire Bomber Command bases later to commemorate the famous mission.

Unfortunately, although the Lancaster is based only about 12 miles from here, the flight path it will take is in the opposite direction! Bummer!

You can't win them all ..... not sure I can win any lol!
