Magpie on the Fence

We have at least six of these Corvids flying around. I think there was a healthy brood last year and several of them haven't learnt that they should find their own territory or do they flock together anyway?

Basil and I had a quiet half hour sitting at the picture window in the bedroom. No squirrels appeared. The Bramley apple tree is still showing blossom and Basil likes to patrol the garden. See extras.

Got to camera club in the evening and was most gratified by the welcome from the ladies. Chris Upton gave his talk on Cuba. I wish he wouldn't make camera club comments about his work. He's beyond it.
