My wild patch is performing

Chuffed to bits to see how plants are emerging from my harvested seed scattering, & planting of Devon lily ( gladiolus byzantinus) last year. There are buddleja raised from cuttings in amongst the lush growth. The stinging nettles have been encouraged, with more wild plants to come. I am so pleased as this piece of garden belonging to the property is actually outside the high brick wall, not wanting to spend money on this area, the wild garden was a perfect solution.
Stinging nettle - Field gladioli - Caper spurge - Phacelia - Common vetch - Fool's parsley - Honesty - Avens - Ribwort Plantain.
Mum & I went to Exeter on the bus for a lunch catch up with friends today. We ate lunch in a small Thai cafe... A limited menu, we wanted a Thai noodle soup fix. It hit the spot flavour wise but unfortunately I nearly chocked on the vermicelli noodles. Never mind. Everyone else enjoyed theirs & the staff were great. The cafe was really busy, always a good sign. We then walked down to Cathedral green for a coffee, sitting outside, not particularly sunny but a pleasure nevertheless.
