Another busy day in the garden spreading horse manure in an attempt to try and suppress all the weed growth for the next couple of months, as well as feeding the soil of course. Come autumn the soil should be much improved and ready for planting again.

May is my favourite month in the garden and I am especially fond of the wonderful fragrant lilac blossom.
