Rock….

Iris and others went by coach to Southend on Tuesday. She brought me back a stick of rock, as you do. She also enjoyed fish and chips and ice cream. It was a wonderful day!

This morning I was at her flat at 8.15 ready for hospital transport for an 11.30 appointment. For some unknown reason other than a big, very annoying mistake, the transport had been cancelled. Not the appointment though. I don’t have the big car at the moment. We ended up paying £42 for a mini cab there and back. There has to be a silver lining. We got to the hospital just in time and with time to spare due to a one hour delay, and the MRI has been done. No need to re-book and add to the waiting time.

Choir was good tonight. Our new musical directors are real experts in the field as well as being quite amusing with their husband and wife banter throughout.
