Friday lunch

I managed to sleep through the night last night. Yay! Sluggish this morning and with it pouring rain, I just didn’t get done all the things I should have.

Had my Friday lunch date with Birgit. The first since I got back from Scotland. We therefore had me giving Birg her presents I brought back from Scotland and Birg giving me birthday presents!

I got a cupcake with my lunch to represent a birthday cake and the #1 candle was to remind myself that I’m #1. That’s per Birgit!

When I got home I spent a bit of time out in the rain staking lilies that the storm last night/this morning had beaten down.
