Fairy fingers: Lus Mór

They're just out and livening the already colourful hedgerows. It seems an excellent year for wildflowers, all blossom in fact - the hawthorn is looking especially abundant and magnificent at the moment.
A quick trip into Bantry to get some fat balls for the birds and a worm tablet for the cat. Mission achieve.
It's been warm and muggy and overcast but I did a bit of strimming - cutting paths through the enormous growth. I know it's No Mow May but have no fear, the wildlife here will not be suffering - everything is rampant!
And thank you for the fruit fly advice - a large bowl of soapy cider vinegar seem to be doing the trick as does a jar with vinegar and a squashy banana, plus funnel.
