Clock winding day

Sunday is clock winding day. It will last another day if I forget, but I seldom do. The clock was made in about 1780 so it is doing well, but at the moment there is a problem with the strike. If I wind that part of the mechanism it just strikes continuously until it runs down, exasperating. Thankfully the pretty chime every quarter is working well.
