Purple Pennies

Before they turn into 'silver penny' seed pods, it seems the young pods of Honesty are a darker colour, toning delightfully with the remaining pink flowers. I'm loving this soft symphony of shades of purple.

Mr PP and I both spent all afternoon gardening - the longest I've spent in the garden for over a month. Wonderful in the sunshine and warm breeze; it felt like summer.
