Surprise session

Most of the family went to Newcastle castle today but V and I were both exhausted with history. Instead we went charity shopping and I found a new bright purple skirt... with pockets!

We met up again at the cathedral but V and I were still too out of it to really appreciate what we were looking at. So we retired to the café for some tasty cake and a surprise folk session going on in there. 

So grateful to V for the chats and the psychoanalysis and being one of those truly wonderful friends that you would give the world for.
