Buttercups

The field behind our house is divided between two owners one of whom rents it out to a farmer, the other keeps it wild for the time being but is a developer so anything could happen. Meanwhile it delights each year with a beautiful display of  buttercups.  
If you look closely there are many other species too.  ( extra)
