A flying thing

No mow May is  firstly a good excuse not to mow the grass, and second provides lots of macro opportunities with bees bugs and pollinators all over the overgrown weeds, ie the lawn. 
I’ve asked LooseCanon to mow a path around the edge and a swathe through the middle so we can at least walk down the garden without needing a scythe.
A buttercup with a beetle which Siri tells me is Oedemera Nobilis
