Possibly the best

No 81 High St Inverurie

The town hall in the shire has certainly seen better days. It's a delightful building and has some really unusual architectural features. That is if you can get to see them through the forest of lamp posts, street signs and bus shelters which block the casual observers view.
The interior is faded but serviceable I suppose, but it really needs an uplift. The exterior is best seen from the rear and even that is marred by car parks and street signs nailed onto the building with messages such as "Car Parking for Hall Keeper only" and "Beware of Sleeping Dragons".
Built in 1862 with Spanish baroque inspiration and some white carved lions its a listed grade "B" building. With an Andrew Carnegie Library bolted on at the back and a lovely balustrated parapet at the front I think it deserves some TLC.
