Bending Barley

On my walk this morning - in glorious sunshine - I noticed a few patches of this barley crop where the stalks had grown significantly taller than those around them.

I got down low to isolate this group against the blue sky. The was a gentle breeze and the ears were swaying back and forth - and I managed to catch this shot ‘mid sway’ :-)

I got a letter back from the State Pension office to tell me that my application has been processed and telling me how much I will be getting and when the payments start…only four months to wait now….
