Making Progress

I began my new jigsaw a few days ago, a super Christmas gift from Miss Flum.
It's one of Angela Harding's linocuts, which illustrated the month of May in the 2021 Calendar and, if you look carefully, you will realise how challenging this will be.

I began by sorting every piece with the colour pink/purple and, having used them, am faced with large areas of similar colour but with similar pattern, made the more difficult by the reference sheet being relatively small - very tiring on the eyes.

So, progress is slow but it was one of my favourite pictures and I shall enjoy every moment.
