Reflective mood... get it?

Had hardly scraped the sleep from my eyes this morning when I was grabbing the macro lens out the camera bag. There was a spider! A dirty big one, in the kitchen sink. An opportunity not to be missed. Sadly, the light was crap, the sink was dirty and the pic was not to be.

So, when I got home tonight I decided to try this. This months DSLR mag had a tutorial on how to do it. With the macro lens on I gave it a shot. Need a bigger flower next time to fill the drop and some better way of holding it and I might have a shot at a decent pic. Happy enough with this first attempt but there's room for improvement!

Nice to be doing some macro stuff again after weeks of views of Edinburgh!
