The final crop of garden irises

Deep purple irises bloom last in our garden. Only the yellow water irises bloom later.

Today I met 3 of my Hertfordshire Education Business Partnership team for lunch near Buntingford. One person had to cancel this time. It is now a good many years since we worked together. It was a lovely 3 hours catching up with life now and remembering all sorts of things from the past. The conversation just never stops! However, with all the chat I forgot to get a photo of us all. Next time I will remember!!
