A Riot of Colour

I thought I would blip my garden tonight as this is where I've spent most of my day today. There are so many self seeded flowers, it's hard to find the space for any vegetables! That's fine though as with less of us at home there's no need to produce so much food and we have local growers bringing wonderful vegetables into the shop.
The profusion of flowers attracts wildlife to the garden, the bees love the Borage, Aquilegia and the Comfrey, the Hoverflies the Poached Egg plant. I love to grow lots of Sunflowers and the seed heads are loved by birds in the autumn, I saw recently packets of sunflower seeds that were advertised as being pollen free, very sad indeed, it's so pleasurable to watch bees working on these flowers.
