Sunny morning in the park

After a couple of grey, and sometimes wet days, today was glorious, and I went for a long walk at Sharon Woods, through the gorge, and around the lake. It was a popular place to be - quite a number of walkers/runners and people out in boats. This afternoon I finally got around to buying annuals to plant out - my job for tomorrow.
I'm not sure what this plant is, but I saw a couple of them growing at the side of the path.
