Cornish beach

Lots of photographs to choose from today, but it's too late and I am too tired to spend much time selecting or working with the images. So I give you this one - a peaceful, gentle beach scene, with the sand washed by the receding tide and a couple of rocks providing the requisite "foreground interest".

The weather has been much improved again today - still a cold breeze, so we were well wrapped up, but plenty of sunshine and interesting clouds. After a walk after breakfast along the length of the beach and back again, we drove down to Bedruthan and the magnificent cliffs and rock formations there. We arrived about an hour before low tide, and stayed all afternoon until high tide (with a break in the cafe for a light lunch). This photo was taken down on the beach, which is reached by a very steep and rather uneven set of steps from the cliff top.

Back to base for a pleasant interlude at the pub (again) and then dinner. Now time for bed!
