RAIN, and MORE RAIN

It has rained for three days, and today had hard thunderstorms much of the day. This geranium bud had been beaten away from the plant and was heavy with water. I tried to catch the drip as it left the bud, but didn't have the right timing. I have new appreciation for shots that catch the 'drip phenomenon' - It must be a combination of major skill, a lot of patience and a spot of luck. The prism-like reflection in a drop of rainwater is amazing - a tiny capture of nature in the reverse reflection of it's background.
