Lupin welcome

Our lupins put on a growth spurt while we were away in North Yorkshire. It was lovely that they greeted us on our return home today.

We're now in holiday turnaround mode. This afternoon we put on several loads of washing. In between these, we popped to the shops for holiday essentials. Amongst our purchases were a copy of my next book group book, and dental cement - just in case my crown drops out unexpectedly in the middle of nowhere.

The weather has been lovely today. We took advantage of it with a barbecue in our yarden this evening.

Exercise today: walking (15,565 steps).
