Peonies

Gosh I love these beauties from my former garden! I picked them a couple of weeks ago when they were still really small buds. Obviously they're opening beautifully! Those streaks of raspberry...good enough to eat!

A few of us botanical garden folks met with the Parks Bureau of the City today. Granted she's one cog in a very large wheel, with many managers, but gosh she was excited by our vision! Planting seeds!
