Long Road Home

Dave and Leyna left after lunch on their way back to England, but we fitted in a walk at the old border post before they left - a lot drier than in this view last year with Paul. It was hot, but still cool enough to walk outside in the late morning.

They apparently had rain all the way to Badajoz, but again, about ten drops fell here.

Gratefuls:
- Dave and Leyna making the effort to come see us, and stay long enough for it to be relaxed
- Mike getting back to working on the extension, preparing to fit the window
- making cheese scones, felt like a bit of comfort, always slightly bereft when good visitors leave, and no more planned
