Last Day of May

Someone’s had a half pint. And a half pint of lager at that. Yes, big Phil is back in town, fresh from his jaunting around the Med. In celebration, we watched Roma vs Sevilla on zee teleevison. It was the final of the Europa Cup y’see - a tournament that we graced away back last August. So long ago that none of us could remember who we’d actually played.*

Earlier the daughter had called in with the wee boy and afterwards I’d done some boat things before deciding to take it back to the mooring. I mean it’s £6.30 a night on the pontoon. That’s a pint - and a half!
