Hello June!

Rested today by my standards! Awake in pain but it was more manageable than usual. The magnesium supplements I started about a month ago are really improving the quality of my sleep and I am trying my best to reduce my caffeine - not easy when you love tea and coffee as much as I do!

Took things easy as much as possible, two loads of laundry, life admin, light housework, did Duolingo revision lessons in French and German and folded and put away dry laundry.

Managed a shower and fresh jammies about 4pm as my fatigue and pain as you know have been horrendous for months.

Looking forward to finally commencing specialist chronic pain physiotherapy this month. I have a telephone appointment with the Pain Clinic consultant in my hometown next week to discuss his write up of my appointment at the end of the April which I documented on here - I will let you know more about that tomorrow as there’s been a lot going on.

Had a quick scoot through my zip fabric wardrobe today. Really need to start saving up for a “real wardrobe”. Had a massive purge of clothes that don’t fit or I never wear some months ago and it felt so cleansing.

Please tell me I’m not the only one who only seems to buy winter clothing when they can afford new clothes! Jumpers, jammies, cosy socks…hot weather attire - next to nothing! I have this same thought every Spring/Summer…

I headed out about 6pm for an early evening walk to soak up some sunshine and rummage through the yellow stickered reduced food in the supermarket - one of my hobbies. I swear I get a high from salvaging food and saving money and it started long before the Cost of Living Crisis!

Watched Question Time. Jack Monroe, the cook and author was one of the panellists. I’m a big fan of her due to her activism around food poverty and helping people cook and eat well on a low income.

Really enjoyed my walk and snapped a quick photo of a tree.

Catching up with comments, stars and hearts slowly. I’m in pain tonight and very fatigued but it was worth it to enjoy rare Scottish sunshine! :) xx
