Anticipation

A purple Cherokee tomato that still has a ways to go to be ripe. It will be purply red when ready to eat. Maybe next week.

Something decided to taste the gazanias I planted. Two plants were pulled completely out of the ground but not eaten. I replanted them. No deer tracks in the bed so maybe it was a squirrel. Or the possum looking for bugs. I am sprinkling red pepper by the plants to hopefully deter any grazers!


Summer finally got here. Hot and humid today. We went out to the Chinese buffet for lunch. No more eating for us today. Drinking water only!
