A lot on the allotment

A busy day at home gardening, potting up tomatoes and seedlings, making sure the pepper plants (yes I still have them here) get some sunshine but not enough wind to snap them off or knock them over. Weekend shopping and more clearing up .. getting there but only just in time for the next bit which is decorating.. there will be more to move out of the office again.. 
This evening we went to see my daughter.. met her on her allotment and drank a glass of wine while she planted a few sweet peas and sunflowers. We took her two freecycled chairs with us so we had a perch while she worked!! That's the way to do it! 
These iris were on her neighbours plot.. as a fence.. just beautiful.  It was cold down there and we didn't get back till quite late by which time I was frozen.  We got home at 10.15pm and hadn't eaten so now I guess we will be awake till 2am digesting! 
We have little Jasper staying for 10 days which will be lovely.. just hoping she will not find nests full of young birds on her hunts in the garden.. there are quite a few about and hopping around in the trees just now. Lovely to have her here though.
