Nectar Heaven....

A change of scene was needed for macro inspiration. So I went to The Dorothy Clive Garden and bought an annual membership.

It's a beautiful garden design by Colonel Harry Clive for his wife Dorothy in 1904. She was suffering from Parkinson's Disease and he wished to create a space with interesting walks for her. Unfortunately she died in 1942 but Clive continued with the project.

It's quite a hilly garden but it's gardens within a garden. The laburnum arch was so full of bees it just hummed!

It was just the inspiration I needed and only a 20 minute drive away from home.
