An ordinary life....

Efficient socialising...

Up and in the shower just after 7am.  Amazing how easy it is to get out of bed when the sun is shining.

Another lazy day doing little things.  Lunch in the garden, cleaned my favourite necklaces, earring and rings, crocheted, ordered two books to take on holiday, menu planned for Alan's pal Andrew coming to stay next week (basically remember to buy white bread and eggs for his French Toast :-) then it was time to smarten up, throw some makeup at my face  and. head off to Broughty Ferry to celebrate our brother in law's sister Aileen's 70th birthday.  Family dinner booked at Forgans.

We were very lucky and got parked opposite the entrance to the restaurant.   And we were first there.  What's happening to us, we're always running late but recently our timekeeping has drastically improved!

The rest of the group arrived a few minutes later and after lots of hellos and hugs and wishing the birthday girl happy birthday, we settled down to a lovely dinner, lots of chat and laughter and a very fabulous birthday cake at the end.  I couldn't eat another bite so got a doggy bag for my slice of cake.  David had a some with his coffee and still managed to get another slice to bring home!  Chancer :-)

The meal was booked for 5pm so we were done and dusted just before 8pm (so funny coming out the restaurant to sunshine and daylight) Home by 9pm.  Dressy gear off and PJs on, feet up and Death in Paradise on the TV.  Now that's what I call efficient socialising :-))
