Brimstone...

Finally!! Something other than a holly blue butterfly in the garden!! This beauty was flitting about this afternoon in the warm sunshine and rewarded my patience for sitting out there waiting the arrival of anything to the garden!

A bit more gardening first thing this morning before it warmed up, so got all the basket plants planted up and updated some spring pots to summer plants!  Then had a lovely cuppa at the next door but one neighbours as they're off on their hols on Tuesday so I'm in charge of the garden so got my instructions!  Also got to admire their very nice kitchen they recently had fitted - the 5 weeks of chaos they endured paid off!

Run out of get up and go now... back to reading it is then!
