Jaguar Nurture

A friend's XK140: I was entrusted with control of the accelerator this morning, holding the lovely straight six engine at 500rpm while the owner tried to increase the idle speed.

He didn't manage it, but I proved that he was right to trust me in the driver's seat, even with one foot on the floor of the garage.

I took a photo of the engine as well, but failed to organise the focus properly . . .
