I got up early and drove seven hours to Holiday World, where the annual HoliWood Nights roller coaster enthusiast event was happening. It's my favorite event. This was my 11th time going to it. I picked up my friend Doug at the Louisville airport and got to the park around 3 p.m.

We rode the roller coasters, ate good food, and met lots of friends. Today was Day 1 of 2 of the event.
