Fragrant Orchid

A good orchid walk on the lower slopes of Arnside Knott this morning

This is one of a patch of 15 Fragrant orchids we found. It needs real expertise to be sure which of the three British Fragrant Orchids it is.  My professional botanist friend will probably tell us.
The Lesser Butterfly Orchids were also doing well. These and the Fly Orchids were being counted by a National Trust working party.
