By the Seine

Got up early to pack away the Black Knight and set off on our travels once more to our next stop near Rouen.

A long drive and finally arrived at a beautiful campsite on the banks of the Seine. To get here we got to take a short ride on a ferry, which was fun by itself, but we were also treated to an interesting sight of an old fashioned boat with rigging. The sails weren’t up but it still looked very grand sailing along the river. (See BGCoffee’s blips for a picture of it.)

We made a fresh salad and ate it outside our van as it was lovely and warm, with very few flies.
Then we went for a short walk along the banks of the river as the sun had set.
