A Hungry Roadrunner

I was lucky enough to be getting into my car noticing a roadrunner running around in little circles.  Of course, I couldn't see what he was after, I just knew that he wasn't scooting away from me and that maybe I had time to grab my camera.

My timing couldn't have been better.  Just as I started snapping, I saw something hanging from its mouth.  I didn't know for sure that it was a lizard until I saw the photos.

Roadrunners are harmless little scamperers.  Cute as all get out!  Quick as hell, too.  (15 mph /24 kmh)
